James Edward Franco (born April 19, 1978) is an American actor, filmmaker, artist, and author. His first prominent role was a lead part on the short-lived cult hit television program Freaks and Geeks; he later achieved recognition for playing the titular character in the TV biographical film James Dean (2001), for which he was awarded a Golden Globe Award. He portrayed Harry Osborn in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy.

Other notable films include Pineapple Express, Milk, 127 Hours, Tristan & Isolde, Annapolis, The Iceman and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Since 2009, he's had a recurring role in the ABC soap opera General Hospital. In 2013, he will appear in Oz the Great and Powerful, This Is the End, Lovelace, and Child of God.

Franco volunteers for the Art of Elysium charity and has taught a class at New York University about filmmaking.[1] In 2013, he will teach a course in short film production at University of Southern California.

James Dreyfus (born 9 October 1968) is a French-born British actor.

Early life and career

Born in France, Dreyfus moved to Britain with his mother shortly after birth when she separated from his father. He was educated at Harrow School and then trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.[1] His parents divorced when he was very young. He is openly gay.

In 1998, Dreyfus won the Best Supporting Performance in a Musical Olivier Award for his work in The Lady In The Dark at the National Theatre. In the same year he was nominated for the Ian Charleson Award for his performance as Cassius in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar at the Birmingham Rep.
